Hello there,
I am a very creative, artistic person, always engulfing myself in creative pursuits such as Music, Film, Arts, Writing, Photography and most importantly Graphic Design.
My experience begins with education facilities, with three years of design degree education and a post-grad year of graphic and web design at Otago University giving me a solid background in design skills and theoretical and historical design knowledge. I also graduated from a Natcoll course in a Diploma of Graphic Design to add to my technical and print knowledge skills. Since school I have actively been doing Freelance design jobs for Charities (brochures and magazine work), and small businesses (logo and branding). I worked for Powerpac as their Inhouse Graphic Designer for just 2 years doing branding/corporate identity /advertising/Product design/Web design/layout design including a 382 page magazine. I also do side freelance work for Paperquip and Torto designing there magazines. I am a very quick learner and can adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
I love to push myself, am very competitive and excel under pressure. It’s under pressure when the creative juices really kick into overdrive. I love working as part of a team, sharing ideas, bouncing off each other’s energy and creativity.
I currently work as a Freelance Designer but would love to get in with a great company with which I can grow. I believe my artistic vision can empower a company’s marketing efforts and create incredible brand awareness that will form a lasting impression on customers.
I also run a Photography and Videography business callled Manual Focus Productions for more information on this go to www.manualfocus.co.nz
